Rancho Guejito in the News
There have been a lot of Rancho Guejito stories in the paper over the years. The oldest I've seen dates back a sale in to 1907. Occasional stories appeared through the years but coverage really picked up in the early 1970s when the ranch was considered for a state park and then again starting in 2005 after Benjamin Coates died and succession of the property and it's future was once again in question. Development possibilities have kept it in the news since then.
It is daunting to present all the stories especially those not available online. For now I have this 18 page PDF available which focuses more on older stories. I will try to develop this page more.
