Community Planning Groups
Several County planning groups surround the Guejito. The ranch is primarily within the Pala-Pauma and North County Metro Community Planning Areas. Guejito subcomitties are being formed to evaluate upcoming proposals for development on the Ranch. Meeetings were held with multiple Planning Groups. The Pala-Pauma Group set aside an hour before monthly meetings to discuss issues relating to Rancho Guejito and the larger Guejito Ranch while Ranch representatives were evaluating development but those meetings were discontinued after March, 2nd 2010 when Ranch representative Rikki Schroeder postponed further meetings.
